When Orme was taking his afternoon walk through his fields he saw Luke Connor working with the other workmen and was very much astonished. Orme prepared to flog the servant thinking that he could not have done such a long journey in such a short time. Luke, perceiving what was about to happen gave the note he had received from the bank manager to Orme. The only reward Luke Connor got was(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
